Yvoire, France. Last day in Europe.

Our last day before leaving for home Wednesday morning. After taking care of some business at CERN, we headed for the lakeside village of Yvoire. It is a beautiful little town, full of tourists. So I dared to wear shorts and a T-shirt.

We had crepes for lunch at this cafe.

 Dessert. Delicious.
 Note the cool T-shirt.
This was pretty cool. Old fashioned organ grinder (guess they are all old fashioned....). He had stacks of punch cards which played different songs. Threw him and the monkey a euro.

This castle appeared to be a private residence. There didn't seem to be any tours or means of access. It was too crowded for Patti and me to try to break in.....

We could have taken a cruise over here from the other side of the lake, at Nyon, Switzerland. We cheaped out. Only 20 euros. Mistake.

A small sampling of Patti's flower pictures. If you want to see more check out her facebook page. I don't do facebook.

We dressed up for our last dinner, at the hotel. I wore a shirt a tie, and Patti wore a dress and makeup! She looked very lovely. Dinner was very tasty. The staff was a little too busy to take a picture of the two of us together, unfortunately.

Leaving Crozet for the airport. By for now. Back to Italy in 2014!!!
